2002 Silver Proof Piedfort Commonwealth Games £2 Four Coin Set
To mark this celebration of sporting excellence, the Royal Mint has issued a (4) coin Silver Piedfort Collection commemorating the Manchester Commonwealth Games, two-pound coin. The reverse is the work of artist and sculptor Matthew Bonaccorsi, a skilled member of the Royal Mint engraving team, whose design was the winning entry in a competition. Representing celebration, victory and sportsmanship it shows a moving figure holding aloft a banner, the top of which is divided into lines symbolising the lanes of a running track or swimming pool. There are four versions of the coin, one for each of the participating teams from the United Kingdom. England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. They are featured, in turn, by their flag appearing in cameo.

2015 United Kingdom Premium Proof Coin Set
This is the "premium" version of the United Kingdom proof coin set of the year, including the regular circulating coins plus (most of) the commemorative coins issued throughout the year.
The 2015 set includes two commemorative £5 (crown) coins - the Churchill crown and the commemorative for the Battle of Waterloo. There are also two commemorative £2 coins, the Royal Navy and the Magna Carta.
The Battle of Britain 50 pence which is included with the set is arguably an error coin; it shows no value and denomination on either side. The Royal Mint did not admit that this is in error, however changed the designs for the coins issued into circulation later, and added "50 PENCE" to their obverse inscription.
The rest of the coins in the set are all the regular circulating coins, from the definitive £2 Technology down to 1p.
All coins in this set have the Fourth Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. Other sets were issued later in the year carrying the new, Fifth Portrait, by Jody Clark.
The coins are struck in Proof FDC grade with frosted finish. The set also contains a £2-sized bimetallic Royal Mint medal and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
